BBQ Team

Located in London Ontario, the team's starring members are Mike Callaghan and Sue Murray, Big Dog and Susie Q. This duo has been cooking together for over 15 years. From creative sauces to complex ethnic foods Mike and Sue share the love of food and enjoy providing others with their tantalizing offerings.

Mike is a Bankruptcy Analyst for the Office of the Superintendent of Bankruptcy and Susan is a Registered Nurse currently working in the ICU of London Hospital Science Centre as well as Student Health of the University of Western Ontario.

2008 saw The Black Pig Team compete for the first time, when we observed our first competition in Salisbury Maryland, complements of Qfan, we were hooked .  What better way to refine our love of food and the perfection of bbq, low and slow.

Cooking and barbequing is not all fun and games there is the support side of our team the we could not function without. The most important person, the original noiracochon herself, Mike's wife of 20 years Barb van Rassel, Barb is the London Middlesex Regional Organ and Tissue Donor Coordinator working for Trillium Gift of Life. 

Our other supporting members include Bob and Joanne Wilkinson both Registered Nurses at LHSC and Mac Quantz our own personal Cardiac Thoracic Surgeon. (With all of this BBQ we need one of these)
