February 4th 2010 Mike Callaghan win's again with his new recipe Wiri Wiri Hot Chili.
National Zantac Chili Challenge 2009

On January 19th 2009 Mike Callaghan attend the final cook off in Toronto for the Canada's first national chili cookoff. Contestants were selected from a pool of original recipes and from the top ten selections with over 80,000 votes three finalists were chosen. The three finalist competed and the Big Dog reigned supreme.

A big win for the Black Pig BBQ Team at the
2008 Canadian Open BBQ Championship.
Mike Callaghan (big dog) and Susan Murray (Susie Q) led the team to three calls. 1st place for Sauce, 1st place for Anything Butt and an big 2nd place for our pulled pork. Not too bad of a start for our first solo competitive outing.
A special thanks to the rest of the team Mike's wife Barb van Rassel, Mac & Melanie Quantz, Bob & Joanne Wilkinson and our kids for all of their help.
